Cootie Williams

Charles Melvin "Cootie" Williams (10 Temmuz 1911 – 15 Eylül 1985), Amerikalı Caz, Jump Blues[1] ve Rhythm and blues Trompetçisi. Profesyonel kariyerine Genç Aile Grubuyla başlayan Williams, ilk kaydını 1928 yılında piyanist James P. Johnson ile gerçekleştirmiştir. 1940 yılında Benny Goodman'ın orkestarına katılmıştır. 11 Eylül 1985 tarihinde New York'ta 74 yaşındayken ölmüştür.
