Jean-Baptiste Berthier

Jean-Baptiste Berthier (1721 – 1804) XV. Louis ve XVI. Louis döneminde Fransız Topoğrafya Mühendisleri Kolordusu'nda bir subaydı (Teğmen-Albay). 6 Ocak 1721'de Fransa'nın Tonnerre şehrinde doğdu. İlk karısı Marie Françoise ile 1746'da evlendi. Beş çocukları oldu. Beş çocuğun en büyüğü Fransız mareşal Louis-Alexandre Berthier'dir (1753).[1] 21 Mayıs 1804'te Fransa'nın Paris kentinde öldü.
