Renin (anjiotensinojenaz), böbrekten salgılanan aspartik proteaz enzimidir. Ekstraselüler sıvı volümü ve arteriyal vazokonstriksiyonu düzenleyen renin-anjiotensin-aldosteron sistemi'nde anjiotensinojeni anjiotensin I'e hidroliz eder. Bu sayede vücudun kan basıncının düzenlenmesinde görev alır.

Renin, prorenin veya renin reseptörü olarak bilinen reseptöre bağlandığı için hormon olarak da anılır.
