Skafosefali

Skafosefali (scaphocephaly), sutura sagittalis’lerin erken kapanmasıyla ortaya çıkan bir kraniyosinostoz türüdür (sagital kraniyosinostoz). Dar ve uzun bir kafatası ortaya çıkar (belirgin dolikosefali). Yüz bölgesi malformasyonların çok hafiftir. Genellikle kalıtsaldır; otosomal dominant ya da otosomal resesif yollar aktarılır.[1][2][3]
