The Sydney Gazette and New South Wales Advertiser, 5 Mart 1803'ten 20 Ekim 1842'ye kadar yayınlanan, Avustralya'da basılan ilk gazeteydi.[1] Vali King tarafından yetkilendirilerek, George Howe tarafından basılan Yeni Güney Galler hükümetinin yarı resmi bir yayınıydı.[2] 14 Ekim 1824'te Robert Howe editörlüğündeyken sömürge hükümeti tarafından sansürlenmesi sona ermiştir.[3]
