Vergilius Vaticanus

Vergilius Vaticanus (Vatikan, Biblioteca Apostolica, Cod. Vat. lat. 3225, ayrıca Vatican Virgil olarak da bilinir). Virgil'ın yaklaşık 400 yılında Roma'da yaptığı Aeneis ve Georgics eserlerinden parçalar içeren bir el yazmasıdır.[1] Aeneis yazmasının günümüze ulaşan en eski kaynaklarından biridir ve klasik edebiyatın sadece üç resimli el yazmasından biri ve en eskisidir. Günümüze ulaşan klasik edebiyatın diğer iki resimli el yazması Vergilius Romanus ve Ambrosian Iliad'dır.

Vatican Virgil'den Folio 22r, Aeneis'in Troya'dan kaçışını betimleyen bir çizim içerir.
