Latin yelkeni

Latin (İngilizce Lateen, Fransızca latine, "Latin" anlamına gelir[1]) ya da Latin yelken teçhizatı gemiyi baş kıç istikametinde yol aldıran, babafingoya belli bir açıyla asılıp, uzun serene takılan üçgen yelken.

Aslen yelkenlilerde kullanılan, latin yelkenin günümüzde biraz farklı bir formu Sunfish gibi çok bilindik küçük teknelerde kullanılmaktadır.
