Bareback

Bareback seks, özellikle erkek erkeğe anal sekslerde kondom kullanılmadan[1] yapılan fiziksel cinsel aktivitedir. Argo bir terim olan bareback seks, İngilizcede binicilikte kullanılan bareback (eyer olmadan) kelimesinden gelmektedir ve ata binerken eyer kullanılmadan yapılan sürüş için kullanılmaktadır. Bu nedenle vahşi, tehlikeli ve eğlenceli olma çağrışımına sahiptir.[2] Barebacking genellikle kondom kullanmayı bırakmak için bilinçli ve kasıtlı bir seçimi kastetmektedir.

Etimoloji

Terimin (cinsel argo olarak) ilk kez ne zaman kullanıldığı bilinmiyor, 1968'de ilk defa basılı medyada görünmesiyle 1960'lı yıllarda kullanımı ivme kazandı.[3] Terim, G.I. tarafından Vietnam Savaşı sırasında kondomsuz seks için kullanıldı.[4] 1972'deki Playboy's Book of Forbidden Words: A Liberated Dictionary of Improper English yayınına dahil edildi.[5] Terim 1980'lere kadar ara sıra basılı medyada yer aldı ve daha sonra AIDS salgını bağlamında tartışıldı. Prezervatifsiz seks ile ilgili tartışmada bir artış olana kadar LGBTT kültüründe 1997 yılına kadar yaygın şekilde kullanılmadı.[6]
