Infernus

Roger Tiegs (d. 18 Haziran 1972) ya da sahne adıyla Infernus, Norveçli satanist bir black metal müzisyenidir. Forces of Satan Records'un kurucularından olan sanatçı, 1992 yılında kurulan Norveçli black metal grubu Gorgoroth'un da geriye kalan tek kurucu üyesidir. Aslen gitarist olan müzisyen, Gorgoroth ve diğer grupların çeşitli albümlerinde bas gitarist, baterist ve vokalist olarak da görev almıştır. Gorgoroth'un varlığı boyunca baş şarkı sözü yazarı olmuştur.

İnançları

Gorgoroth'un kurucusu olan Infernus, teistik Satanisttir. Grubun temelini kendi felsefesi ve dini üzerine kuran müzisyen, kendisinin 'Şeytan'ın Dünya'daki vekili' olduğunu ilan etmiştir.[1] Mart 2009'da gerçekten neye inandığı sorulduğunda, Satanizm'in Gnostik bir kalıbı diye cevap vermiştir.[2] Eski meslektaşları Gaahl ve King ov Hell ile yaşadığı Gorgoroth isim münakaşasının sonuca bağlanmasının ardından Mart 2009'da gerçekleştirilen bir röportajda 'Gorgoroth'un ideolojik omurgası' olduğunu söyledi.[3] Ticari ciddiyetsizliği yüzünden Şeytan Kilisesi'ne olan karşıtlığını dile getiren Infernus, grubun esas değerlerine katılmadığını da belirtti:[3][4]

'Onların teist bir varoluşu kabul etmemesi, insanın bu evrenin merkezinde olduğu anlamına gelmiyor. Bunlar bir hümanistin veya sözde bir ateistin görüşleri değil, benim görüşlerimdir.'[5]

They had their thing in the late 60's and 70's rebelling and making it more or less accepted what they were up to, practising some easy to identify with and to defend kind of Satanism openly, bringing it into popular culture transcending music and film industry. What appears to me is that they have a lot of fun and circus going on, and thats good for them. Nevertheless, as a Christian have, I also have a concept of a God, and to me Satanism is not only about some 3 rd force psychological development approach, nor some more spicy humanist attempt to get to grips with things.
