Keuppia

Keuppia, soyu tükenmiş bir ahtapot cinsidir. Keuppia hyperbolaris ve Keuppia levante adlarında iki cinse sahiptir ve her iki cins de yaklaşık 95 milyon yıl önce yaşamıştır.[1] Her iki tür de fosilleşmiş halde bulundu ki bu durum, soyu tükenmiş ahtapotlar için çok nadirdir ve ölü ahtapotların yumuşak dokusu, fosilleşme şansı olmadan hemen hemen her zaman parçalanır.[2] Bu fosiller, Styletoctopus cinsine ait olanlarla birlikte, Lübnan'daki Kretase çağı Hâqel ve Hâdjoula bölgelerinden bulunmuştur.
