MADHOUSE Inc. (Japonca: 株式会社マッドハウス, Kabushiki-gaisha Maddohausu), bir Japon animasyon stüdyosudur. Şirket 1972 yılında kurulmuştur. Şirketin merkezi Tokyo'nun Nakano semtinde yer almaktadır.

Tarihçe

MADHOUSE Inc. 1972 yılında eski Mushi Pro animatörleri olan Masao Maruyama, Osamu Dezaki, Rintaro ve Yoshiaki Kawajiri tarafından kurulmuştur.

Şirket Şubat 2004 tarihinde Index Corporation'un yan kuruluşu haline geldi.[1] 8 Şubat 2011 tarihinde Nippon Television yeni hisselerin üçüncü taraf tahsisi yoluyla Madhouse'un ana hissedarı oldu.[2] Mart 2014 tarihinde ise NTV şirketteki hisselerini %95'e yükseltmiştir.[1]

Yapımları

Madhouse stüdyosunda çalışan kişi sayısı 70 olup sayıları aynı zamana üretilen projelerin sayısına bağlıdır. Ayrıca şirket Koreli animasyon stüdyosu DR Film'e de yatırım yapmıştır.[3] Madhouse'nin bir de Madbox Co., Ltd. adında bilgisayar grafikleri ile ilgilenen bir alt kuruluşu bulunmaktadır.[4]
