1996-97 FA Premier League

1996-97 FA Premier League veya sponsorluk anlaşması gereğince 1996-97 FA Carling Premiership, Premier League'in 5. sezonudur. Sezonu şampiyonlukla tamamlayan Manchester United; lig tarihindeki 4., ülkedeki en üst seviye futbol liglerindeki 11. şampiyonluğuna ulaştı. Sunderland, Middlesbrough ve Nottingham Forest; Football League First Division'a düşen takımlar oldu. Newcastle United forması giyen Alan Shearer, attığı 25 golle sezonu gol kralı olarak tamamladı.
